On a regular day, the view from my rooftop is typically beautiful. Yet, the same day after day. But as spring time rolls in, I look forward to climbing the stairs to my rooftop camera in hand as sunset is about to occur. This is one of my favorite out of this world views from my rooftop. In this day and age, a writer’s job has become more diverse than ever before – there’s absolutely no doubt about it. Amongst the plethora of graffiti tags that are found around various European capitals, such as Amsterdam,Paris and Berlin, there are a few artistic gems just waiting to be discovered. And some of the colorful artworks have been painted by none other than the female graffiti artist Zaira from Basel,Switzerland. Through her artworks Zaira has not only managed to add some color to the streets of many of Europe’s capitals and towns, but she’s also managed to leave a girly yet super edgy mark on what appears to be a predominantly male dominated art form.

Admit it, at one point or another you’ve had that one friend who loved to read. The friend ,who’d most often than not, would rather burry her face in a book on a Saturday night instead of going out for a night on the town to drink away the sorrows of the week until the wee hours of the morning. And as years rolled by, that love of reading helped spark ideas which she jotted down on her brown hardback notebook. Some people were born to study medicine, others to paint. I was born to write. And write I shall. But one thing I didn’t know about writing when I first began as a writer a few years ago is that the path to great writing is long, sometimes twisted and other times peppered with massive boulders that you must leap over.
